Our History

Out of the several academic institutions run in Nawalgarh, Kantikumar R. Podar Private ITI  is one of the Budding Training Institute, approved by NCVT & QCI New Delhi.
On the demand of the people of Nawalgarh, the Trust started Kantikumar R. Podar Private ITI  with air-conditioned classrooms and modern amenities.
The Anandilal Podar Trust was established in the year 1921. We feel proud to state that the trust was founded by Shri Anandilal Podar who was inspired by great visionaries like Mahatma Gandhi, Founder Trustee Chairman of the Trust, Bharat Ratna Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya, Founder Trustee and Chairman of the Trust from 1930 to 1946 till his demise and Shri Jamnalal Bajaj as the founder Trustees of the Trust.
Our Present Chairman (since 1989) Shri Kantikumar R. Podar is a very dynamic person and well known nationally and internationally. He has been Chairman / President of more than 15 important Trade and Industrial bodies, many of which are of international level. He has headed institutions like FIICI (Apex trade body of trade and industry in India) Indian cotton Mills Federation, All India Organization of Employers, and Indian Merchant Association Chamber of Economic and Scientific Research Foundation. At the behest of the Government of India, he constituted the SAARC Chamber of commerce and industries, of which he had also been the president. Besides he had been on the senate of the University of Bombay for six years. A new academic and cultural dimension has been brought by him to Nawalgarh Institutions.
